OBJECTIVES The purpose of the Master in Latin American Anthropologies is to train researchers and academics in contemporary anthropological theories and advanced ethnography that are born from Latin America for the study, analysis and basic and applied research of cultural reality.
Specific:
- Develop the ability to pose basic and applied research questions for the generation of new knowledge in the disciplinary field.
- To train in the application of anthropological approaches and theoretical concepts in basic and applied ethnographic research of cultural reality.
- Train in field research, based on ethnographic research methods and techniques.
- Develop the ability to integrate the contributions of other disciplines of the social sciences for the analysis and interpretation of Latin American cultures,> using ethnography as the main tool for their performance.

Admission Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in anthropology, archeology, social sciences or related disciplines.
- Having defined their area of interest or the cultural problem that motivates them to take the Master's degree and around which they hope to develop their thesis, which must be made explicit in writing when applying to the program.
- Candidates are required to submit references or letter(s) of recommendation for acceptance
- Candidates are required to submit an essay(s) for acceptance
