Bachelor of Information Management, Library Science and Archives

We train professionals capable of managing information as a strategic resource within organizations, with solid knowledge in information and communication technologies that allow them to actively participate in the design, development and implementation of solutions according to the requirements of libraries, archives and, in general, of any public or private organization interested in efficiently managing the flow of information available, both physical and virtual.

Benefits and opportunities when studying Information Management, Library and Archives at UAH

The career has formal agreements with the National Library, the National Archive, the Library of the National Congress, among other institutions. An interesting link with the Information Sciences career at the Javeriana University of Colombia stands out, under a framework agreement of the Association of Universities Entrusted to the Society of Jesus in Latin America (AUSJAL). Thanks to this, the students have the possibility of carrying out one-semester professional internships in that house of studies.
