UAH is committed to a training that promotes the interdisciplinary integration of Visual Arts for its teaching in Basic and Middle Education, an urgent need in the Chilean educational system. UAH's proposal delves into up-to-date disciplinary and pedagogical knowledge in four training lines: Theory and History of Art, Artistic Practice, Pedagogical Training and Practical Training. For this UAH offers a varied offer of artistic practice courses to enable the teaching of the national curriculum such as Drawing, Painting, Graphics, Volume, Photography, Audiovisual, Architecture and Design and Technology; as well as courses of a solid theoretical training for a contemporary understanding of the history of art and contemporary visual culture.

This opens the way to academic and cultural mobility for students who, from the third year, can do an exchange semester at a foreign university.
