Master's Degree in Educational Management and Direction

National and international research shows that directive leadership and school management are key factors for improving the educational results of educational establishments. That is why, since 2004, the Master seeks to contribute to the training and professionalization of directors of educational establishments, through the development of skills and effective management and leadership practices, in accordance with the current challenges of improving our educational system. 

The central axis of the training is given by learning based on analysis and reflection, both on the conceptual aspects and on the specific styles and practices of school leadership and management, which guide the improvement of the processes and results of educational establishments., both in its academic and educational dimension.

It lasts for three semesters plus the degree activities and offers a Master's degree in Educational Management and Direction from the Alberto Hurtado University.

The Program has a body of professors of high academic level, and with a wide and outstanding experience both in the direction and advice of educational establishments and in educational reform and change processes at the national level.

The Master is accredited for 6 years, by the Qualitas Accreditation Agency.
