Since 2001 we have been training professionals capable of serving society as psychologists and psychologists. We want to train professionals who innovate and make informed decisions in the most diverse contexts, exercising a psychology at the service of people and communities. This common work always asks for something new and demands evolution in work practices, since academics, students, managers and officials, we are all different. This diversity is a main feature of university activity and confronts us with the need to cultivate a dialogue based on respect, tolerance and the search for agreements. The first two years you will take the founding courses and you will know the basic aspects of Psychology. At the same time, you will acquire initial methodology and research skills. Already in the third and fourth year you will get closer to the different psychological theories and their different fields of action. In the fifth year you will be able to specialize in the area that interests you the most and that will allow you to attend to needs of a diverse nature: clinical, labor-organizational, educational or community social psychology. In each of them you will acquire knowledge and skills to diagnose, design and evaluate interventions.
