This master's degree grants access, by right, to the National Institute of Notarial Training (INFN) which allows students to obtain the Diploma of Higher Studies in Notarial Law (DESN).



It is the essential first phase of a course of study leading to the title of Notary or senior notary assistant .

  • First cycle (bac+3)
Required training(s)
  • The first year of the Master's program in notarial law is open to holders of a Bachelor's degree in law or an equivalent recognized diploma, subject to review by a special committee.
  • The Master 2 in Notarial Law  is primarily open to holders of a Master 1 in Notarial Law or a Master 1 in Law.


Two training schedules  are available to future graduates: 
  • Initial training
  • Continuing education

VAE (Validation of Acquired Experience)  and  VAP (Validation of Professional Acquired Experience) procedures   allow access to the program.
