This non-selective program, with a limited capacity of 35 places, is designed for students whose career goal is to become primary school teachers.


It is a three-year program taught half by the University of Côte d'Azur and half by the Lycée du Parc Impérial in Nice (25% of courses are at the university in the first year, and 75% in the third year).


It is a specific track within the Bachelor of Science and Technology degree, leading to the award of a Bachelor of Science and Technology degree (180 ECTS credits). It includes:

  • General education courses (Philosophy, Physical Education, History and Geography, Science and Technology, Visual Arts and Music Education, English) and advanced disciplinary courses (French, Mathematics) are offered in high school.
  •  Specialized courses in science (Mathematics, physics, chemistry, computer science, life sciences) and specific pre-professional training for teaching professions are offered at the university.
  • Observation and practical placements in primary schools during the first and second years of the bachelor's degree. International mobility during the third year of the bachelor's degree.

Admission Requirements

Required training(s)
  • Admission to the first year of undergraduate studies (L1): Baccalaureate or equivalent diploma. A good level of French and mastery of subjects taught in primary school is required; having taken a mathematics course in the penultimate and final years of secondary school is strongly recommended. All other high-quality applications will be considered.
  • Admission to L2: The prerequisite is to have acquired 60 ECTS in an L1 PPPE.
  • Admission to L3: The prerequisite is having validated an L2 PPPE.
