A Biobank is a biological materials repository that collects, processes, stores, and distributes biospecimens to support scientific investigation. The main objective of this MSc is to acquire knowledge, experience, and practical skills that will qualify graduates to work in the multidisciplinary field of biobanking (humans, animals, plants, and other living organisms) and complex data management.


First MSc degree in Europe on Biobanking and Complex Data Management and developed by leading experts in the field. Dedicated for Biological Sciences students looking to gain professional skills to deliver an evolving biobank service that meets regulatory and user requirements. International exchanges among a wide network of academic and industry partners. Two in-company internships of 6 months during the 2 years of training (France or abroad).



The MSc Biobanks is one of 10 International Master of Science programs, created in the frame work of the Initiative of Excellence UCA JEDI. These programs are Master of Science degrees that are fully recognized and accredited by the French Ministry of Higher Education, Research & Innovation on March 17, 2020.
