Mod4NeuCog is a 2-year master's program in modeling of neural and cognitive systems. This MSc aims to train the interdisciplinary researchers of tomorrow at the crossroads of applied mathematics and cognitive sciences. At the end of the program, students will have acquired enough knowledge in mathematics, statistics, computer science, biology and cognitive sciences in order to model neuro-cognitive systems.

The interdisciplinary training of Mod4NeuCog provides its students with a unique opportunity to define their choices gradually, to acquire independent thinking and to benefit from professional immersion through two long internships. They can specialize in a field of their choice thanks to projects and internships within the Université Côte d'Azur research laboratories. The access to these laboratories will be facilitated as they are partners of the NeuroMod Institute, which hosts the Mod4NeuCog training and brings together more than 15 different laboratories. The fields of research covered by the laboratories include: medicine, mathematics, linguistics, physics, experimental economics, psychology, computer science, neurophysiology and olfactory chemistry.

The MSc Mod4NeuCog is one of 10 International Master of Science programs, created in the framework of the Initiative of Excellence UCA JEDI. These programs are Master of Science degrees that are fully recognized and accredited by the French Ministry of Higher Education, Research & Innovation on March 17, 2020.
