Presentation and objectives of the training
The double Master Syndemics program trains socio-economic research officers capable of processing public health data in a syndemic approach (a comprehensive approach to the determinants of health at the territorial level based on social, economic and environmental interactions with health).
This innovative and unique training program in France will lead to a career as a territorial public health research officer.
Organization:
Public health courses are entirely designed as 100% e-learning and therefore delivered entirely remotely,
including:
- online courses with learning units that adapt to participants' schedules;
- discussion forums;
- Web conferences;
- online tutoring by qualified tutors.
Economic Expertise courses are held in person on the St. Jean d'Angely campus. A remote learning format is possible for candidates with atypical profiles.
It is not possible to validate one or more competency blocks.
Training duration
- 706 hours of training in semester 3, and 6 months of mandatory internship in semester 4.
Success Rates, Satisfaction, and Job Placement:
The Syndémie double Master 2 program is a new course. Official data on success and satisfaction rates are not yet available; however, you can consult the success and satisfaction rates for each of the component courses on their respective websites (Spub website and Economic Expertise website). You will be able to contact the program directors for more details starting in September 2025.
