The Master's degree in Private Law aims to train and prepare students for the various professions in the judicial world (notary, lawyer, bailiff, judicial representative, etc.) as well as for all legal professions that can be found in administrations, companies or the non-profit sector.
The overall objective of this Master's program is to provide high-level training in private law, starting with a general curriculum in the first year (M1), followed by specialized training in specific areas of private law within the various specializations of the second year (M2).
The first year (M1) and some of the M2 specializations are standard courses in any law faculty.
The Master's degree in Private Law pursues both professional and research goals.
From this perspective, the training provides opportunities for students enrolled in doctoral studies, with the development in some courses of a research paper constituting for students a first step in personal research.
On the other hand, this training opens access to professional integration with a view to practicing particularly diverse professions.

- To analyze new texts and developments in case law in the fields of private law and criminal science,
- Identify the points of controversy in court decisions,
- The ability to integrate foreign rules, and especially Monegasque law,

The course content for each track is determined by the teaching teams themselves, comprised of leading specialists in the discipline. The aim is to impart knowledge, skills, and professional conduct to students. The link between the research conducted by the instructors and the training they provide within the program guarantees the high standards of the Master 2. The division into specializations allows for a high degree of student specialization and a better guarantee of successful and effective integration into the job market.
