The programme “ From Agronomy to Agroecology ” aims to train future managers in plant production and its management according to agroecology principles. These managers will be called on to produce new knowledge on agroecosystems, from plot to territory scale, and on methods to manage them.
Their vocation is to become actors in multidisciplinary design and innovation processes, to help the ecological transition in agriculture and to make farming production meet the multiple challenges it must face.
Post-graduate profile Scientists at Master's (Bac+5) level specialising in agronomy and food ecology considered from the angles of science, cultural practises and social movement. Students on this course have in-depth understanding of the scientific and technical aspects of food ecosystems, their functioning and management, and the issues involved in changing from plot scale to territory scale, including interactions between actors. In terms of methodology, students are trained in systemic, project-based, multidisciplinary and co-design approaches. Students also have a good command of statistical tools and scientific English.
