The Engineering and Chemistry of Biomolecules course offers high-level training, centered on the study of living organisms at the molecular level, intended for students who have validated a degree in the Chemistry-Biology interface. This training includes in-depth lessons, updated according to scientific advances in these 2 fields, in the following disciplines: biochemistry of macromolecules, structural biology, proteomics, biotechnology, structural bioinformatics, bio-organic chemistry, structural and separative analysis techniques , strategies and tools for organic and organometallic synthesis, organic functionalizations, synthesis of organic molecules from living organisms, biophysics of radiation-macromolecule interactions.
Thus, at the end of this training, students are able to understand, master and adapt to the latest tools or innovations in chemistry and molecular biology in order to participate in or set up interdisciplinary research projects.
The Engineering and Chemistry of Biomolecules course offers:
• Reference training in its field based on a group of prestigious establishments.
• An open organization allowing each student to orient his training among a range of possible profiles (Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Structural Biology, Biophysics, Chemistry)
• The possibility of in-depth training at the Chemistry/Biology interface
• Theoretical lessons and advanced practices
• A rich and diverse internship offer in a set of laboratories of excellence
