This multidisciplinary course aims to train students in the study of biosourced, biocompatible and biodegradable materials with an approach that is both chemical, biological and physical.  This course also aims to train students in the choice of materials, their synthesis or modifications, their use or association according to their intrinsic physico-chemical properties in order to shape the structure and obtain the best performance while respecting environmental constraints. These will be specified in order to make students aware of the problems of the life cycle of materials and the recycling of waste. This training is part of the new momentum towards nanobiotechnology where the development of these new biomaterials/biocomposites must take into account compliance with biocompatibility, biodegradability and non-cytotoxicity.
