The programme aims to train high-level specialists in continental natural water resources, surface-water hydrology and hydrogeology. At the end of the programme, students will have acquired skills that they will use in the private or public sector to take action and address different issues:
- problems of water resources; - exploitation of aquifers; - protection of hydric resources; - soil and water quality; - pollution and depollution of waters; - management of catchment basins.
It is a research and vocational programme, training students in: - surface-water hydrology - hydrogeology (saturated and non-saturated zones) - geochemistry - hydrogeophysics
Courses are taught in classrooms, in the field and in laboratories or companies. They include a large proportion of individual and group projects. The programme is based both on fundamental knowledge of the targeted fields and on operational knowledge necessary for the practice of the targeted professions: field observations and measurements, spatial and temporal data processing methods and numerical modelling (in hydrology, hydrogeology and geochemistry).
In order to apply to one of the programmes of the master, please select the programme you are interested in under the "Year 1 & 2 Master's programmes" tab .
