This curriculum teaches students who would like to work in the energy sector, either professionally or more research-oriented. It provides a wide range of mostly optional courses that enable students to acquire a good understanding of the challenges and concepts. Courses that are more methodology-oriented describe analysis tools (economic theory, modelling, econometrics, applied mathematics, management, financial tools, etc.). Specialised courses and a long internship enable students to become rapidly operational in their first job. Research courses provide students with the opportunity to interact with scientists working in university laboratories and research institutes. Introductory courses provide an understanding of stakeholders' major social, geopolitical and strategic challenges in these domains. A special curriculum is designed for students alternating school and work experience.
