The objective of the course " Prospective modeling: Economy, Environment, Energy " of the mention "Economics of the environment, energy and transport" is to offer training dealing with all the questions of modeling of the questions energy, climate and natural resources, in particular from the angle of forecasting on climate, energy and the environment.
The disciplinary fields taught include: economic theory and its applications to decision-making (cost-benefit analyses, decision-making under uncertainty, etc.); integrated modeling tools, statistical and econometric methods as well as the necessary computer resources.
If the course is open on a work-study basis, it is only for a (very) small number of students (1 or 2 students) wishing to join the "research" and study departments of large companies or in institute laboratories. of research in order to fit into these structures from M2.

  • Detailed description and hourly volume of courses taken since the beginning of the university program.
  • Curriculum vitae.
  • Motivation letter.
  • All transcripts of the years / semesters validated since the high school diploma at the date of application.
  • Certificate of English level.
    (English language level certificate B1 (IELTS: score 4/5; TOEIC: score 550/760; TOEFL IBT: score 42/71). In the absence of official proof, level B1 certificate issued by the English teacher or transcript specifying level B1 )

  • Certificate of French (compulsory for non-French speakers).
    (Level B2: Non native french speakers, a knowledge certificate issued by the French Embassy or a French language center. Students holding a French diploma or a diploma instructed in French are exempt from that obligation)
