The master, consisting of a single course, "State law of religions in France and Europe", gives the student the ability to decipher all the causes, factors and issues of religious issues, thanks to a base legal, historical, philosophical and linguistic knowledge. Capable of reasoning from the notion of religious freedom, he also knows how to determine with precision the place of this freedom in both public and private space. At the end of the training, the graduate is thus able to provide expertise on any question involving religion or to undertake university research on this subject.

The second-year allows the deepening of legal knowledge and reflection on religious freedom and secularism, thanks to lessons on French private and public law of religions, on European rights and European state rights on religions, as well as lessons in the history of law.
