On this course, you’ll learn to design, evaluate and apply IT systems within business environments.

Your studies will culminate in an individual research project on an area of your choice, such as:


  • IT applications in business contexts
  • IT strategy in particular regions, industries or sectors
  • complex IT project and system management
  • user perspectives and IT systems design
  • IT innovation for business models.

Degree requirements: You should normally have a lower second-class (2.2) undergraduate honours degree or above. 

Subject-specific requirements: Your qualification should be in a field that has substantial computing, information technology, science, technology or business-related content. You may also be considered for the course if you have other professional qualifications or experience of equivalent standing.
