How do migration policies shape migrants’ life-chances? Our interdisciplinary Masters will give you the knowledge to analyse and address these and other questions.
You’ll gain specialised knowledge and transferable skills in areas such as:
- migration policies and bordering practices
- the intersection of migration with gender, race, climate and cities
- irregularity, transit and detention
- protracted displacement.

Admission Requirements
- Degree requirements: You should normally have an upper second-class (2.1) undergraduate honours degree or above. Applicants with a lower second-class (2.2) degree classification will be considered on a case by case basis.
- Subject-specific requirements: Your qualification should preferably be in a social sciences or humanities subject; alternatively, you should have relevant professional experience or engagement.
- Candidates are required to submit an essay(s) for acceptance
