Our schools of study include:

  • Law, Politics and Sociology
  • Life Sciences

  • Psychology

You can also customise your course to build a degree that allows you to follow your interests and broaden your education; and depending on the course, you can choose electives from several different disciplines, spend time studying abroad or undertake a professional placement.

Focus on employment

With 90% of our graduates being employed or in further study within six months (Destinations of Leavers from Higher Education 2016), we’re one of the UK’s most successful universities for employment.

Our Careers and Employability Centre supports you throughout your studies, offering services to enhance your professional development. These include work experience and internships, careers fairs and training courses, plus one-to-one support from friendly experts.

Home from home

We offer a large selection of flats and houses to suit different tastes and budgets. Most first-year students live on campus in our accommodation but we can also offer advice on renting in the private sector in Brighton and Hove.

Entry requirements

Our standard A-level offers range from AAA–CCC, depending on the course (including foundation years). We also accept a range of non-A-level qualifications from around the world. For a guide on comparable qualifications, please visit our admissions pages.

Fees and funding

Tuition fees vary depending on your fee status; so please visit our website to find out more.

Brighton is a city that has the buzz of London without the price tag and on our webpages we’ve broken down the typical costs per week for a Sussex student. We also offer a range of generous scholarships for undergraduates.
