This Fine Art course develops artists and creative thinkers to practise their practical skills while developing their critical and theoretical knowledge of fine art. Students of this degree will have access to SHU’s studies where they will experiment with art in a vibrant, supportive environment, learn how to exhibit their work and develop relationships with industry professionals and the creative community, preparing for a career in the arts. This course is part of the Sheffield Institute of Arts. There are just two modules in each year of this course. One is based on individual art practice in studios and workshops, and the other focuses on the development of theoretical and historical understanding of art.
