The Sports Engineering MSc degree is aimed at high-achieving graduates in engineering and the physical sciences. Students will learn to develop and apply their technical knowledge to the world of sport. On this MSc, students will develop a biomechanical and physiological understanding of athletes, enabling them to analyse the athlete-equipment interactions in sport. The course focuses on giving practical experience in techniques relevant to the sports engineering industry. Students will work individually and in groups, learn how to use engineering software and hardware and work on an industry-relevant project. It is led by Dr Simon Choppin, a fellow of the research centre and an associate editor of the Sports Engineering Journal.
