The Film Studies degree is designed for those who are passionate about film, particularly cinema in all its forms. On this degree, students will learn cinematic codes and the conventions of film storytelling, with a grounding in narrative theory. A variety of films across a range of different genres, periods and countries in state-of-the-art cinema facilities will be studied throughout this degree. Students will also learn to analyse films as well as cinema's industrial development, changing production, distribution and exhibition practices and leading theoretical frameworks.
