The Nursing (Child) MSc degree will build on student’s undergraduate experience and student can become a fully-qualified nurse in two years. Completion of this degree leads to registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council. Students will spend 39 weeks on placement - with mentoring and support throughout - and study in Hallam's cutting-edge facilities. Placements are across South Yorkshire and the Humber, with some of the UK's leading healthcare providers. During the placements, each student is assigned a qualified and experienced children's nurse as a mentor. During the supervised placement, students will care for children up to sixteen years of age. This is centred around the child and their family, and can be in the home or in hospital.
