Students may tailor their studies to reflect specialist interests, which enhances independent thinking and creativity. By gaining a comprehensive understanding of patterns of crime and deviance and prepare for a rewarding career in the criminal justice or social justice sector. In the foundation year, students will build their subject specific and general business knowledge alongside developing academic skills to prepare students for starting their subject specific undergraduate degree. Students will be provided with an overview of the key concepts, ideas, approaches, research and general knowledge to the topic areas and will have the opportunity to question, debate and discuss these within their seminar groups.
