This top-up Events Management is a one-year degree which allow students to top-up their HND, foundation degree or equivalent in a relevant subject to an honours degree in events management. Students will learn how events in this sector are strategically managed and funded from both a political and cultural perspective. Students will learn the specific skills to create, manage and deliver events across a wide range of industry sectors. This could include events such as festivals, weddings, conventions, exhibitions or experiential marketing. This course delivers teaching through a combination of seminars and workshops, by attending lectures, and by completing projects. Field trips, site visits and work with external organisations enhance students’ engagement and understanding of the complexities and challenges of operating in the international events industry.
