This course covers diverse cyber-security and computing topics. Students will develop their knowledge of web and mobile security, and their governance. They will also build a solid theoretical grounding in systems, networks and data communication. This course is accredited by the British Computer Society for the purposes of fully meeting the academic requirement for registration as a Chartered IT Professional and partially meeting the academic requirement for registration as a Chartered Engineer.. On this course, students will learn about cyber security from penetration testing to ethical hacking and network intrusion. In the third year, students can take a one-year paid work placement.
