Students will study all the key areas of building surveying including building pathology, material science, building conservation, building information modelling and fire safety. The course is accredited by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, the Chartered Institute of Building and the Chartered Association of Building Engineers. This degree includes a UK residential field trip in the first semester of the first year that promotes the course identity. Students will also visit other UK cities such as Edinburgh, and attend a project-based visit to a major European city (recent students went to Lisbon in Portugal). There is a residential field trip in the first semester of the first year.
