The Law with Criminology degree explores legal and criminal justice principles, rules and practice and the effect of law in society from complementary academic and practical perspectives. Students will gain legal work experience within SHU’s own regulated legal practice, SHU Law. On this LLB, students will engage in real legal work in a range of practice areas including private litigation, criminal appeals, and pro bono advice clinics. This course is a fully qualifying degree, satisfying the standards of the Solicitors Regulation Authority and Bar Standards Board for legal training. This qualifying law degree exempts one from the Common Professional Examination of the Solicitors Regulation Authority and Bar Council.
