The Nursing (Child) enables each student to become a fully qualified children's nurse. It recognises the unique role of the children's nurse in providing physical, emotional, and psychological care and advice to children and their families. This course is approved by the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC). Graduates are eligible to apply to register with them. Registration with the NMC is required in order to practise as a nurse in the UK. This degree will be taught by experienced registered nurses who will demonstrate how interpersonal skills, relationships, care and dignity act as the focus points of the course and how these skills are necessary to work compassionately in the modern, complex healthcare world.
