The program of the Department of Chemistry at the Colleges of education grants a bachelor's degree in science and education (chemistry major), during which the student studies, in addition to specialized courses, some courses in the field of biology enable him to teach science at the basic education stage and teach biology at the secondary stage, the student also studies several educational courses that make him an educational teacher, and some supporting courses that help him absorb specialized courses in the field of chemistry. the program also qualifies to enroll in the graduate program in chemistry and Educational Sciences.
The program aims to:
1-Preparing a qualified teacher to teach chemistry and science courses.
2-Developing scientific research competencies to serve the local community.
3-providing students with concepts and theories and the possibility of applying them in practice and benefiting from them.
4- Teach the student how to link theory and practice.
5- Provide scientific, technical, and educational consultations in the field of chemistry and environmental sciences to the relevant authorities.
6-the ability to design and implement teaching plans using modern strategies in teaching chemistry.
7-contributing to the development of chemistry and science curricula at various stages of Education.

Admission Requirements

It is required for those who apply to study at the following biology department.
1-he must have a general Secondary School Certificate or its equivalent from outside the country (the state of Chad).
2-be fit and healthy.
3-Submit the required original documents specified by the university administration to the college registrar's office during the specified period for registering new students.
4-to study full-time at the college as a regular student, and not be registered in one of the other educational institutions, or previously dismissed from study from other colleges or universities for scientific or disciplinary reasons.
5 - he must pass the admission tests represented by the personal interview, the written test, and the Oral Test, organized by the college at the beginning of the semester, provided that he obtains a percentage of 65% and above in each test
