The Department of Agricultural Engineering aims to conduct modern studies and advanced educational programs in engineering applications related to agricultural production, natural resource management, and control of the agricultural environment. This enables the department to play an effective role in community service.

The objectives of the department are as follows:

- Provide graduates with proper training on the use of equipment used in various stages of agricultural production and manufacturing systems.
- Teach students basic and applied sciences related to agricultural engineering.
- Offer specific courses covering the disciplines of agricultural energy and machinery, food processing, post-harvest engineering, irrigation and drainage engineering, agricultural buildings engineering, and bioenvironmental engineering.
- Provide job opportunities for agricultural engineering graduates in agricultural mechanization stations, land reclamation companies, irrigation and drainage projects, crop harvesting and grading stations, agricultural construction companies, and agencies for the sale of agricultural machinery, food, and feed factories.

Admission Requirements

 Admission requirements: requires passing a minimum of 30 units, including courses in mathematics, physics, chemistry, computer operating systems, soil fundamentals, acreage and agricultural buildings, introduction to agricultural machinery.
