The vision of the Renewable Energy Engineering
Department is to build leading regional capabilities in the field of renewable
energy through education and innovation, by providing high-quality education to
engineers in various fields of renewable energy to participate in energy
research and development, and providing experts and consultants on energy
issues and the possibility of finding appropriate solutions for them.. We also
aim to pursue research and development, apply engineering knowledge and
critical thinking, increase problem-solving skills related to renewable energy,
assume professional and ethical responsibility in the areas of renewable energy
development, and participate in addressing the social, economic, and
environmental issues involved in renewable energy technologies.

Admission Requirements
1. Students seeking admission to the College must hold a General Secondary Certificate from the Scientific Department or a specialized Science High School. Students from specialized and accredited institutes may also be considered for admission based on their excellent academic record after passing the entrance exam. 2. Applicants must submit six personal photos along with a valid proof of identity document such as a national ID, nationality card, or passport. 3. Students must provide a health certificate from an approved medical center to confirm that they are fit and healthy to study. 4. Applicants must obtain a good conduct certificate from their previous school. 5. Students must be committed to studying full-time. 6. The student's overall high school grade must meet the minimum percentage required for admission to the College for the year in which the student is applying for a bachelor's degree. 7. The College may also administer an entrance exam and conduct a personal interview. The admission decision will be made by the Admission and Interview Committee, and its decision will be final after approval by the college council. 8. Non-Libyan applicants must pay fees and study expenses by the regulations set by Libyan universities. Students from countries with signed agreements on reciprocity will be subject to those agreements. Students on scholarships must comply with the regulations set by Libyan universities. 9. Students must register on the website of the new student management system (https://idpsebhau.edu.ly/online) and obtain a reference number. 10. After completing the registration process with the general registrar, students will receive a study number, and their e-account will be activated. 11. Students will receive their username and password via their registered email address, which will also activate their University email account. Students must keep their login credentials safe as they will need to use them throughout their study period.
