Admission Requirements

The College of Medical Technology admits students based on certain conditions set by the legislation in force. Before the start of each academic year, the college council determines the maximum number of students it can accommodate. Those who wish to pursue a Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology must meet the following general admission requirements:

1. A recent certificate of completion of the scientific secondary school or its equivalent from abroad.
2. A minimum of 70% in their general Secondary School Certificate.
3. Good behavior and a positive track record.
4. No more than two years have passed since their secondary school certificate was issued.
5. Must be physically fit and able to attend theoretical, practical, and clinical lessons. Applicants will also need to pass an entrance test and participate in a personal interview.
6. Students are responsible for paying the fees and expenses associated with their studies by the regulations, decisions, and legislation currently in effect at the universities.
7. Must be enrolled full-time at the College as a regular student and cannot be enrolled in any other college or university.
8. International students may be granted scholarships by the state on the same basis and terms as Libyan students. However, the college council may establish additional conditions for international students who wish to study independently, according to legislation in force. The student must be a resident of Libya for the duration of their studies at the college and meet all of the requirements.
