Our vision here at the Department of Materials and Metal Engineering is to deliver high-quality education to be recognized at the level of the region and the nation, through supporting our students and research, communication, and partnership with industry as well as providing services to the community. Also, in this department, we provide our students with proper education, which enables them to take an effective role in promoting the practice appropriate to the engineering profession. Admission Requirements

To be eligible for admission to the College, the student must meet the following requirements:
- Have a general Secondary Certificate from the scientific department or specialized science high school. Students of specialized and accredited institutes can also be admitted with a degree of excellence after passing the entrance exam.
- Bring six personal photos and a valid identity proof document (national ID, nationality card, or passport).
- Be fit and healthy, as documented by an approved health certificate.
- Have good conduct and a conduct certificate issued by the school from which they are coming.
- Devote full-time to study.
- Have a general grade in high school that meets the percentage specified and approved for admission to the College in the year they wish to register for a bachelor's degree.
- Pass an entrance examination and a personal interview, if required by the college. The decision of the admission and Interview Committee will be final after it is approved by the college council.
- Non-Libyan applicants must pay fees and study expenses according to the regulations in force at Libyan universities, taking into account the signed agreements on reciprocity. International students on scholarships must follow the regulations in force at Libyan universities.
- Register on the website of the new student management system (https://idpsebhau.edu.ly/online) and bring the reference number issued by it.
- After completing the general registrar's procedures, a study number will be issued, and the student's e-account will be activated. The student will receive the password and username directly via the registered e-mail, which they are required to keep safe. The student will also be granted the University's e-mail and all the rights and benefits to use it throughout the study period.
