The computer department is responsible for granting graduating students a bachelor's degree in education with a specialization in computer science, through an 8-semester program consisting of approximately 142 academic units. The curriculum is designed to prepare and qualify specialized professionals academically and educationally, to meet the requirements of the labor market in the field of computer science. The program aims to equip teachers with the skills to teach computer science to students at the primary and secondary education stages, as well as encourage and develop scientific research skills in the fields of computer science and computer teaching methods.

The program is also designed to provide graduates with sufficient information to allow them to pursue higher studies in computer science and teaching methods. It provides graduates with information and intensive field training, which helps them prepare educational lessons with high professionalism and execute them perfectly.

Admission Requirements

To be eligible for admission to this department, the student must meet the following requirements:

- Completion of the secondary stage with a certification in a scientific specialty.
- A minimum overall rating of 65%.
- Good health and physical fitness.
- Successful completion of an educational entrance exam.
