Thanks to national and international agreements, Doctorate in Psychology students have the possibility of carrying out student exchanges, learning about research carried out by experts from foreign universities through international internships, being linked to research projects developed in other institutions or jointly, attend seminars given by visiting experts at the Institute of Psychology and receive advice on research projects, as lecturers or under the figure of co-tutorship, obtaining a double degree from foreign universities.
The Doctorate in Psychology is face-to- face and requires full-time dedication. As an important development, since 2018 the Institute of Psychology makes its academic and technological resources available to facilitate the mediated presence strategy in which the training activities that originate in the Universidad del Valle can be shared in real time, with groups in geographically different places, through the use of telematic means. The mediated presence implica the synchronous concurrence of all participants in the academic process to the same learning experiences, regardless of where they are. This innovation in the academic program seeks to facilitate access to doctoral training for people who live outside Valle del Cauca, even outside the country, guaranteeing the same quality standards.
