Food Engineering

Food Engineering is designed to train professionals with a solid education in engineering principles and methodological aspects, incorporating biological and food sciences into the design of industrial solutions. He is typically a process engineer, responsible for ensuring the safety and quality of processed food and the highest efficiency of the manufacturing process.  This training will allow you to plan, design, optimize and evaluate production systems in the food industry and perform adequately in activities aimed at product development.
With the academic program of Food Engineering, the University seeks a comprehensive training of human talents to attend processes of handling, conservation, transformation and marketing of raw materials and food products. They are also professionals capable of contributing to administrative processes associated with food processing.
