The Doctorate in Engineering from the Universidad del Valle is a program with a long tradition in high-level training in engineering. It has been recognized by Colciencias as the program with the highest qualification among Doctorates in Engineering and third of all doctoral programs in the country. The Ministry of Education certified it as a high-quality program within the maximum period granted (10 years). The Doctorate in Engineering, with an emphasis on Industrial Engineering, aims to train researchers with a solid preparation and technological training and in-depth knowledge of the tools that allow modeling, understanding and optimizing complex systems in which physical elements and human behavior interact, typical of operations related to production systems, logistics, supply chains and other organizational systems.
