The Engineering Doctorate – PDI, approved in 1998, is consolidated as an academic space for the training of researchers at the highest level, where different areas of emphasis, research groups, students and professors interact. The program is focused on research and the different areas of engineering or applied engineering sciences. It seeks to train doctors with a high level of knowledge, intellectual rigour, scientific curiosity and creativity, capable of being intellectually autonomous and competitive at the international level. The Faculty of Engineering through the Doctorate in Engineering has promoted research, participating and leading regional and national development with quality resources and with new knowledge of international standards and framed in national realities.
