The Professional Academic Program in Recreation of the Universidad del Valle trains professionals committed to carrying out social intervention, including the playful, the festive, the creative and contemplative as mediations for the transformation of the environment and for the strengthening of the social fabric in an environment of research and high academic level. The program intends to comprehensively train professionals and technologists in Recreation, qualified to promote processes of socio-cultural and organizational development, mediated by directed recreation and from the perspective of popular education. The program comprehensively trains recreation professionals and technologists qualified to recognize and promote recreation as an essential sociocultural component for the construction of collective encounters.
