It is an academic program that, by training high-quality graduates, makes a double contribution to the cultural processes of Colombia since its graduates, being artists themselves, capable of carrying out artistic creation processes in the midst of socio-cultural dynamics, They are called to deepen society's relationship with visual artistic expressions as a fundamental part of its idiosyncrasy and as an essential component of educational and training processes, working in basic, secondary and higher education institutions and in different informal education projects.
This program tends both to the training of artists who are clear from the beginning of their commitment to the new realities of the country, as well as to the training of educators in the aesthetic field capable of satisfying the new pedagogical requirements of our educational system in teaching, criticism and the history of art.
