Objectives of Bachelor in Social Sciences:

Promote the assimilation of concepts, theories and practices in the disciplinary and pedagogical, in the area of social sciences, which enable a conscious interaction of the graduate and his students in basic education, with the social realities of the school and its environment.
Stimulate democratic behavior of coexistence and respect for plurality, identifying the contributions of the various ethnic, social and cultural sectors in the construction of a regional and national project.
Promote new options of their knowledge and their disciplinary work, fostering a critical spirit on the foundation and curricular structure, the thematic contents and the methodologies used in the teaching of social sciences in basic education.
Train graduates capable of stimulating intellectual development processes in children and adolescents, so that they can build notions and temporal and spatial explanations, in accordance with their cognitive possibilities.
Help future teachers fulfill the role of actors and not mere spectators in the design and implementation of projects aimed at the formation of an environmental and territorial culture in the population
