The Chemistry Academic Program has the following objectives:
Overall objective:
Provide a solid knowledge of chemistry in its theoretical, experimental and applied aspects through interdisciplinary research and collective or individual experimentation of matter and its transformations, taking into account the valuation and protection of the environment and using criteria of independence, creativity, ethical sense and social responsibility.
Specific Objectives:  train professionals capable of:
  • Contribute to the development of chemistry in the country, through the ethical and honest performance of their profession. 
  • Develop and apply basic techniques for the design and execution of experiments. 
  • Process and evaluate results, protocols and techniques for representative samples, using statistical criteria. 
  • Write and support scientific-technical reports, in accordance with the demands of the scientific community and the
  • national and international productive environment. 
  • Conserve, preserve and improve the environment and natural resources through the correct management of the principles and laws of
  • chemistry. 
  • Develop products for the creation of companies in the chemical sector.
