The Master in Public Policy was created in order to respond to the needs of the public sector to effectively contribute to the modernization and rationalization processes of the institutional apparatus, including the strengthening of international cooperation schemes between public and private areas, to achieve the social purposes of the State.
Its creation is considered a fundamental contribution in the educational process of scientists and researchers with skills to analyze public realities; as well as consultants, academics, professionals and public officials who investigate, reflect and develop alternative solutions to the problems of managing public and private organizations in the Colombian and Latin American environment, who have been trained for more than 16 consecutive years. in the program, and graduating the first Master's class, starting in 2003.
The experience, academic quality and great acceptance at the national and regional levels have allowed the High Quality accreditation to be obtained, according to Resolution No. 11955 of June 16, 2016 of the Ministry of National Education, which confirms academic and human excellence. of the training proposal of the Master in Public Policy.
