The Nursing Academic Program of the Universidad del Valle is based on the idea that health is essential for quality of life, therefore, a commitment to the development of this purpose is the training of Nursing professionals provided with theoretical and practical tools and humanistic that allow it to provide effective solutions. Therefore, the following objectives are set:
• Train Nursing professionals with attitude, knowledge and disciplinary, social and investigative skills, who comprehensively care for people, families, communities and the environment. • Promote the development of the student in the cognitive, affective, ethical, aesthetic and political dimensions, during the basic and professional cycles, which allow him to act integrally as a person, citizen and professional in society.
