The purpose of Universidad del Valle, by offering the Popular Education Degree Program, is to train human talent with the best ethical-political, professional and technical conditions that contribute to the integral development of local communities, having as basic axes referring to the education, culture and participatory democracy.
The Degree is under the academic responsibility of the Popular Education Research Group, an interdisciplinary group with 35 years of experience in training, research and social projection projects, which has contributed to the knowledge, analysis and resolution of relevant social problems in specific contexts., as well as leading the construction of the field of knowledge of popular education at the national level.
