The Foreign Trade Program of the Universidad del Valle was created as an institutional response to the need to satisfy the requirement of Colombian society to have talent that would make it possible to improve and massify the management and direction of Foreign Trade in our country.
The Foreign Trade Program professionalizes the practical exercise around International Trade operations. This training is characterized by the transmission and development of theoretical-practical knowledge, as well as seeking to train a professional with proactive capacity that affects the improvement of the sociocultural and economic possibilities of our organizations, to take advantage of the opportunities that the new international panorama offers., overcoming the challenges of multiple infrastructural and institutional backwardness; that is to say, it is required to train a professional equipped with theoretical knowledge, practical experience and with a planetary vision of the dynamics of International Trade, capable of assuming direction and management processes in Foreign Trade both in private companies and in public institutions.
