The Mass Media - Journalism program aims to train professionals capable of understanding communication processes and the problems that arise from them, as well as proposing strategies in accordance with the needs and demands of Colombian society.
Purpose of Vocational Training
The purpose of the Academic Program is to train social communicators who are capable of:
- Understand communication processes and problems and provide strategies in accordance with social needs and demands. - Assess, recover and stimulate cultural production processes in different areas and social spaces. - Analyze, design and produce information in different communication media and for specific social spheres. - Contribute to the knowledge of the plurality and specificity of the modes of communication existing in Latin America, the country and the regions that constitute it. - Develop academic training linked to the constitution of specific projects in the field of communication.
